Job Description
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial real estate transaction documents
- Handle acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and joint venture matters from start to finish
- Lead due diligence and closing processes across multiple active deals
- Advise clients on legal and business issues tied to development and investment transactions
- Partner with senior attorneys, clients, and counterparties to move deals forward efficiently
- Manage sophisticated matters with a high degree of independence and sound judgment
- Stay current on market trends and real estate law developments impacting clients and transactions
Qualifications
- J.D. from a strong law school with excellent academic credentials
- 8+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience preferred
- Background at a large, top-tier, or highly reputable law firm
- Strong experience with purchase and sale, finance, and joint venture transactions
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and deal management skills
- Able to manage multiple matters simultaneously with limited supervision
- Strong client-facing communication skills
