What You Will Be Doing
- Technical Consultations: Managing 20–25 daily technical client interactions, acts as the primary engineering consultant to diagnose field challenges and specify optimal equipment solutions.
- Application Engineering: Applying advanced thermodynamics, fluid handling, or structural mechanical knowledge to customize eco-friendly product packages for diverse industrial environments.
- Automated Quoting: Leveraging specialized, automated engineering software to rapidly generate highly accurate commercial quotes and technical proposals.
- Strategic Collaboration: Analyzing customer-submitted data and blueprints to provide alternative, value-engineered design suggestions to the internal sales force.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Partnering closely with the production and manufacturing teams to ensure that all customized quotes perfectly align with current plant capabilities and lead times.
- Technical Presentations: Articulating complex mechanical specifications, regulatory compliance, and rapid ROI calculations directly to client engineering executives to advance the sales cycle.
What We Are Looking For
- Engineering Foundation: A solid 5-year background in mechanical engineering or heavy industrial manufacturing. You must possess deep foundational mechanical aptitude.
- Sales Instincts: A minimum of 2 years in a technical sales, inside sales, or applications engineering role where you actively enjoyed high-volume phone work and customer relationship building.
