Our client, a contract manufacturer of electromechanical assemblies, needs a Production Manager to direct and coordinate production and the maintenance department.  You will be responsible for production performance while maintaining quality requirements in the most cost-effective manner.  You will report to the president of the company.

What you will be doing:

·   The Production Manager is crucial in driving operational efficiency across both Wautoma and Montello locations, ensuring teams achieve their targets smoothly.  There are about 100 employees between the 2 locations.

·   Responsibilities include managing production schedules, fostering teamwork, and implementing lean manufacturing practices to minimize costs and errors—making a tangible impact on the company’s success.

What they are looking for:

·   Expertise in manufacturing leadership and operational management.

·   10+ years’ experience in the manufacturing industry, with at least in an operations leadership role.

·   Experience with lean manufacturing techniques such as 5S.

·   Working Knowledge of computer systems for managing production schedules (familiarity with SYSPRO is preferred).

·   Must be an effective communicator both verbal and written

·   BS in Operations Management or equivalent experience is strongly encouraged.
