Schedule and staffing
· Proposed Monday–Friday schedule: 8 AM–4 PM, eight-hour clinical days.
· Two weeks on / two weeks off: 10 weekday clinical days per four-week cycle, approximately 130 clinical days annually per physician.
· Recruiting target: two alternating physicians to cover all weekday blocks. Alternative block arrangements may be considered.
· Nighthawk provides after-hours diagnostic interpretations. Weekend, holiday, and after-hours procedural coverage and compensation remain to be defined separately.
· Travel and lodging provided or reimbursed. Travel time and travel days are not compensated clinical days.
Compensation and benefits
· $4,000 guaranteed per eight-hour clinical day.
· First 50 wRVUs per clinical day included; $45 per wRVU above 50.
· $50,000 sign-on bonus plus $30,000 relocation allowance: $80,000 total package per physician.
· 3% annual COLA applied to the clinical daily rate beginning on the first anniversary.
· Malpractice and tail coverage provided or paid; limits of $1 million per claim / $3 million aggregate.
· No breast imaging or mammography; no Medical Director responsibilities.
At approximately 130 clinical days, estimated guaranteed annual clinical compensation is $520,000 per physician, excluding incentives, sign-on and relocation payments, and COLA. Actual compensation depends on the agreed number of clinical days.
Diagnostic responsibilities
Interpret CT, MRI, X-ray, and ultrasound for inpatient, Emergency Department, and affiliated outpatient services. Provide STAT and routine interpretations and communicate critical findings according to hospital requirements.
Procedural responsibilities
Perform image-guided biopsies; CT- and ultrasound-guided procedures; paracentesis; thoracentesis; abscess and fluid drainage; drain placement; central venous access; PICC placement when required; arthrograms; joint injections; and other routine procedures within training, privileges, and scope of practice.
The supplied job order estimates approximately 3,000 studies annually. The agency should treat this as preliminary: whether this represents an individual physician workload or a particular portion of program volume requires confirmation.
