We have partnered closely with a premier organization to secure a dedicated, full-time Emergency Medicine Nocturnist. This role places you inside a highly regarded, close-knit community hospital emergency department that boasts an exceptional culture of mutual respect, internal clinical support, and stable operations.
This position is designed for an Emergency Medicine physician seeking a stable, structured night role with a highly manageable annual hourly requirement, minimal administrative friction, and top-tier financial retirement matching
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the solo attending Emergency Medicine Physician on-site during night hours, directing patient care and managing acute presentations with full clinical autonomy.
- Benefit from excellent, dedicated night-time overlap coverage provided by experienced Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to streamline patient throughput.
- Support a high-functioning community Emergency Department seeing a steady, predictable volume of approximately 28,000 patient visits annually.
- Utilize the Meditech EMR platform. The department currently deploys an efficient human scribe model, with a planned future transition to cutting-edge AI scribes to drastically reduce administrative charting burdens.

Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with completion of an accredited Emergency Medicine Residency program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Emergency Medicine strictly required (Note: Family Practice certifications cannot be accepted for this night role).
- Active Ohio state medical license (or immediate eligibility to obtain) and valid DEA registration.
