Location: Hobart, IN

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for conditions affecting the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow
  • Clinic patients per day: 30
  • Call Rotation: 1:6
  • Perform complex hand and upper extremity surgeries, including tendon repairs, nerve decompression (carpal tunnel), fracture fixation, and microvascular procedures
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations for chronic conditions such as arthritis, Dupuytren's contracture, and congenital hand differences
  • Manage acute upper extremity trauma, including revascularization and replantation where applicable
  • Utilize advanced minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques for wrist and small joint procedures

Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
  • Demonstrated proficiency in general orthopedic procedures and arthroscopic techniques
  • Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with athletic trainers and physical therapists
