Senior Litigation Attorney - Medical Malpractice / Healthcare Defense
Pay: $160,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year

Location: Salt Lake City, UT. This is a primarily on-site role with flexibility built in due to court appearances, depositions, and case-related travel. Attorneys have autonomy over their schedules while maintaining a collaborative office presence.
Note: To be considered, you must be actively licensed in Utah and have 4+ years of litigation experience. Experience in medical malpractice defense or healthcare law is required.

Job Description
- Represent clients in litigation matters from pre-trial through trial
- Draft pleadings, motions, written discovery, briefs, and other legal documents
- Attend hearings, depositions, trials, and client meetings
- Conduct legal research, case analysis, and strategic evaluation
- Collaborate with associates, paralegals, and trial attorneys on case strategy
- Manage substantive litigation responsibilities with a high level of independence
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service and communication
- Support business development efforts and contribute to the continued growth of the practice
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active Utah Bar membership
- 4+ years of litigation experience
- Experience in medical malpractice defense or healthcare law
- Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures
- Strong writing, research, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Excellent oral advocacy and communication skills
- Professional, personable, and team-oriented
