Role Summary

In this fully remote role, you will provide infertility-focused genetic counseling to healthcare offices across the United States. Counseling services include both test result delivery and comprehensive genetic counseling sessions.

You’ll serve as a trusted genetic counseling resource for reproductive specialists and their diverse patient populations, while being supported by a large, collaborative team of genetic counselors and medical geneticists.

This position also offers opportunities to help improve patient experience through process enhancement and to participate in educational and research initiatives.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver genetic counseling services via phone and video conferencing

• Explain and interpret genetic test results, including:

  • Carrier screening

  • Prenatal screening (e.g., cell-free DNA)

  • Infertility-related risk assessments

  • Hereditary cancer and other genetic testing

• Support clinicians with test selection, interpretation, and clinical guidance

• Ensure timely and compassionate result delivery and follow-up care

• Collaborate with a nationwide genetics team to enhance patient care

• Contribute to quality improvement, education, and professional development initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree (MA/MS) in Genetic Counseling or Human Genetics from an accredited program

• Board certification from ABGC or ABMG (preferred)

• 2–3 years of clinical genetic counseling experience (preferred)

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while remaining highly collaborative

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Background in reproductive genetics, prenatal genetics, or women’s health

• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills

• Comfort working with electronic health records and standard office software

• Passion for patient education and improving healthcare delivery
