Compensation: $700,000 annually

Location: Mattoon, Illinois (With opportunities for expansion into other locations)
We have partnered closely with a premier regional healthcare facility to recruit a full-time, Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) Otolaryngologist (ENT). Step into an established service area with massive waiting lists, an expansive referral network, and the full surgical infrastructure needed to build a premier practice.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality clinical and surgical ENT interventions across a broad, high-demand general otolaryngology practice scope (including general ENT, rhinology, laryngology, otology, and pediatric ENT).
- Utilize state-of-the-art surgical suites across multiple sites, performing cases at the main Mattoon operating rooms and outpatient surgery center, with options to support expansion and outpatient cases at an additional facility in Effingham.
- Design and establish your ideal practice schedule; leadership is highly accommodating and prepared to support non-traditional blocks (such as 7-on/7-off or every-other-week rotations) for regional or out-of-state commuting physicians.
- Collaborate fluidly with an extensive internal primary care and pediatric referral network to handle high-volume, immediate patient backlogs.
- Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and timely electronic medical records for all clinical encounters, surgical documentation, and patient follow-up care.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
- Successful completion of an accredited Otolaryngology Residency program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Otolaryngology
- Active, unrestricted Illinois state medical license (or immediate eligibility to obtain)
- Valid DEA registration
- Excellent clinical judgment, surgical skill, and a collaborative mindset optimized to thrive within an expanding regional surgical program
