Engineering Manager
An Engineering Manager to manage, develop plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of the engineering team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
· Plan, coordinate, and monitor engineering projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
· Establish clear goals, roles, and responsibilities for Team members, aligning them with broader organizational objectives.
· Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
· Oversee resource allocation, project prioritization, and risk management to ensure smooth project execution.
· Collaborate with other manufacturing managers and leadership to set and assess priorities across teams.
· Assesses cost effectiveness and feasibility of manufacturing processes; makes and implements recommendations to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
· Supervises tooling operations, ensuring all work is performed accurately and according to quality and safety standards.
· Collect and analyze production data to monitor process performance and identify areas for improvement.
· Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators.
· Provide technical training and support to product staff on new processes, equipment, and procedures.
· Ensures compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and guidelines, including those of the EPA and OSHA.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (e.g. Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering)
· Minimum 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing.
· At least 5 years of supervisory experience preferred.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare budgets and records.
- Experience with ERP systems, knowledge of Infor Visual a plus.
- Experience using CAD platforms.
