ATC Experts is recruiting a Senior SAP AI Platform Engineer to help turn advanced AI capabilities into dependable tools for enterprise SAP teams. Your work will help engineers modernize code, investigate problems, and improve business processes across complex SAP landscapes.

This role offers hands-on ownership across SAP development, platform infrastructure, and AI behavior. You’ll build, test, troubleshoot, and see how your decisions perform in real customer environments.

The challenges you’ll take on

• Give AI the tools to work inside SAP. Build capabilities for code access and editing, system search, secure authorization, isolated testing, automation, and landscape integration.

• Make the platform work in production. Develop and debug ABAP, untangle installation and transport problems, and solve issues across customer systems.

• Teach agents better engineering judgment. Translate your SAP knowledge into skills, instructions, and prompts that improve how AI approaches development, troubleshooting, and modernization.

• Prove that improvements hold up. Build tests and benchmarks that expose weaknesses, catch regressions, and measure progress.

• Turn difficult problems into lasting improvements. Trace failures across code, infrastructure, and AI behavior, then use what you learn to strengthen the platform.

The expertise that will make you effective

You’re comfortable going deep into ABAP, S/4HANA, transports, BAdIs, and enhancements. You understand how production SAP systems behave—and how to investigate when they don’t.

You also bring:

• Experience shipping software in Python, TypeScript, Go, or a comparable language.

• A practical understanding of AI agents: where they add value, where they fail, and how to make their behavior more reliable.

• Strong debugging instincts and the judgment to navigate complex enterprise environments.

Experience that gives you an edge

• Five or more years of hands-on SAP technical work.

• S/4HANA production delivery, Clean Core initiatives, or substantial ABAP modernization.

• SAP BTP, RAP, CAP, or Integration Suite.

• Contributions to SAP-related open-source projects.

• Experience building products at a startup, infrastructure company, or developer-tools business.
