Our client is a leading Employee-Owned aviation construction company.

We are seeking motivated, organized and resourceful team players who share our passion for teamwork and construction. These positions will have the opportunity to support aviation projects nationally.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing the entire operation of the construction site. They should be able to determine and address any risk areas to maintain the safety of workers. This candidate should be experienced in communicating project milestones with clients and other parties and be able to establish a timeline for completion.

Qualifications

·         Aviation construction experience
·         Minimum 3 years’ experience in Commercial or GC Construction
·         Excellent communication skills
·         Ability to read construction documents blueprints, AutoCAD
·         Familiarity with regulatory construction standards
·         Self-starter who wants to work for an EMPLOYEE-Owned Company
 

Essential Duties

  • Support Contract administration, company and project safety requirements, quality requirements, change order management, issue resolution, client integration, correspondence, project schedules, operations and administration for assigned projects
  • Develop and strengthen Client, Vendor and Subcontractor relationships
  • Create and update project schedules using MS Excel, MS Project and CPM
  • Learn and become very fluid with use of Procore
  • Retain the ability to pass Federal Background Check(s) and complete Airport SIDA classes for badging and site security purposes.
  • Retain ability to pass random drug tests by Employer, Client or Airport requirements
  • Complete through and accurate document control for your assigned projects; properly document project events and organize document control for assigned project(s)
  • Help administer Subcontractor or Vendor agreements throughout the entire lifecycle of a project
  • Complete as-built drawings, RFI’s, Submittals, Photographic reports, project logs or reports
  • Interest and ability to obtain General Contractor licenses or Professional Engineer licenses.
  • Complete technical engineering, project management and project administration tasks as needed
  • Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed
  • Communicate project progress with clients, PM, Engineers and owner
  • Ensure layout, materials and trouble shoot site conditions
  • Manage Crews/Subs to ensure the job is completed on time and on budget
  • Ability to identify a problem and solve it before it becomes a problem
  • Able to mentor other team members
