Environmental, Health, and Safety EHS Associate
Summary:
The EHS Associate supports the implementation and maintenance of environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance and promote a safe work environment. This role assists with training, audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives while partnering with site leadership and employees to strengthen safety culture and environmental performance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop and maintain EHS policies and programs.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
Prepare and implement the facility's annual EHS operating plan and related action plans.
Evaluate workplace hazards and operational risks.
Provide support regarding implementation of EHS strategy and product stewardship at R&D.
Participate in routine EHS assessments, investigations, and internal and external audits.
Supports department personnel with administrative duties, projects, and initiatives.
Manage company EHS budget.

Degree Preferred
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
