Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney
Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year

Location: This role is based in Atlanta, Georgia, with the opportunity to build your practice in a strong legal market alongside an established team.
Note: Must be admitted to the Georgia Bar and have 3+ years of insurance defense or closely related civil litigation experience.

Job Description
- Defend clients in complex insurance defense litigation matters
- Handle cases involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, transportation, construction, premises liability, and product defects
- Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and discovery
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
- Take and defend depositions
- Participate in mediations, hearings, and other litigation proceedings
- Manage active files, deadlines, and client communications in a fast-paced practice
- Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on litigation strategy, evaluation, and resolution
- Support trial preparation and overall case development from inception through resolution
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active member in good standing with the Georgia Bar
- 3+ years of insurance defense or related civil litigation experience
- Experience handling litigation matters involving bodily injury, wrongful death, transportation, construction, premises liability, or product liability is strongly preferred
- Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines with solid judgment and attention to detail
