We are seeking a skilled Machine Electrical Maintenance Technician to ensure the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our production facility. In this role, you will be the backbone of our operations, maintaining everything from high-precision stamping presses to the building's core infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
As a vital member of our maintenance team, your duties will include:
- Machine Maintenance & Repair: Troubleshoot, dismantle, and repair mechanical and electrical components for four-slides, coilers, stamping presses, compressors, and tool room machinery.
- Electrical Systems: Design and fabricate unique equipment and electrical controls; maintain relay logic and PLC control systems.
- Preventative Strategy: Adjust functional parts, install control instruments, and maintain detailed data records for costing, inventory, and scheduled maintenance.
- Facility Oversight: Perform general building maintenance, including lighting, plumbing, and structural repairs.
- Operational Support: Operate forklifts and elevated platforms to assist with the installation, moving, and repositioning of heavy machinery.
- Quality & Compliance: Adhere strictly to company quality procedures (ISO/Work Instructions) and ensure all work meets safety standards.
Qualifications
We are looking for a disciplined technician who can blend engineering theory with hands-on application.
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in machine electrical repair and facility maintenance.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong background in welding, electrical systems, hydraulics, and machining.
- Control Systems: Hands-on experience with relay logic and PLC control systems is essential.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze data from multiple sources to solve complex mechanical issues and improve process structure.
- Professionalism: A high performer who communicates effectively across all levels of the organization and holds themselves accountable for results.
- Education: High school diploma or trade school equivalent.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Manual Dexterity: Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Visual Acuity: Ability to perform close-up work, read technical manuals, and adjust focus.
- Lifting: Must be able to periodically lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
