Summary:
The Laser Operator is responsible for laser cutting parts per P&I work instructions and methods to satisfy customers’ needs. This role requires strong attention to detail, initiative, and effective team collaboration to ensure quality and timely delivery. Laser cutting is detail-oriented, hands-on, and customer-focused.

• Operate laser cutting machines to maintain daily production throughput as directed by the Production Supervisor.
• Follow approved procedures and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Communicate production job status via email and the help desk system in a clear and timely manner.
• Perform daily maintenance tasks on laser cutting equipment.
• Keep machines and work area clean, organized, and free from obstructions to support a safe and efficient environment.

Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required for this position:
•Technical certification or degree not required but preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (minimum of 6 hours per shift).
• Capable of handling materials up to 40 lbs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent dexterity.
• Demonstrated employment or experience in detail-oriented settings.
