Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time | Four 10-Hour Days | Day Shift

Location: La Grande, OR (Rural Eastern Oregon)

Compensation: $170K - $173K+ per year

We are seeking an innovative, reliable and flexible Nurse Practitioner who enjoys working with a supportive and caring group of healthcare professionals and desires a work life balance with schedule flexibility! Join our team, who serve a local population of approximately 35,000 residents in beautiful rural Eastern Oregon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive orthopedic physical exams and patient assessments
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries
  • Perform clinical procedures including joint injections, aspirations, and splinting/casting
  • Order and interpret diagnostic imaging such as X-rays and MRIs
  • Develop and manage non-surgical treatment plans and post-operative recovery protocols
  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and allied health staff for coordinated patient care
  • Provide patient education regarding injury prevention and rehabilitation
  • Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation 

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (required)
  • Current NP or PA licensure (required)
  • Board certification or board eligibility (required)
  • Comfort with and interest in practicing in a rural community setting

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary ($170,000-$173,000)
  • Quality incentives up to $18.5K
