Day to Day
This position focuses on applying specialized shotcrete techniques for bridge and industrial repair projects. Only a small portion of the day (around 10–15%) involves directly operating shotcrete equipment, while the majority is hands-on field work such as joint repairs, bridge lifting, surface preparation, painting, and assisting with general construction tasks. You’ll also handle equipment setup and maintenance, ensure anchors and reinforcement are correctly installed, and support your team with other field duties when not operating the shotcrete machinery. The role is entirely field-based, requires travel across multiple states, and involves projects ranging from a couple of months to two years. It offers comprehensive exposure to all aspects of project execution on-site.
