Senior Process Automation Developer

***Must be local to the Cleveland, Ohio area***

Essential Accountabilities:

· Build complex, enterprise-grade automation solutions using UiPath best practices and design patterns

· Develop custom activities, workflows, and integrations for specialized business requirements

· Implement exception handling, logging, and recovery mechanisms for resilient automation

· Optimize bot performance, scalability, and resource utilization

· Ensure solutions comply with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements

· Recommend and implement innovative approaches to maximize automation ROI during

contract tenure

· Develop reusable components, libraries, and frameworks to accelerate automation delivery

across the contract period

· Provide strong customer service skills by responding in a timely fashion using excellent verbal

and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences and following

through on commitments within the established SLA or specified time frame.

· Ensure all deliverables are well-documented and transferable to internal resources

· Execute assigned automation projects within scope, timeline, and budget constraints

· Contribute to the organization's automation playbook and center of excellence

· Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the automation team by

mentoring junior and mid-level developers on UiPath development, and leading technical

training sessions and workshops on advanced automation techniques.

 

Preferred

· Architect and develop sophisticated agentic automation workflows that can autonomously

make decisions, adapt to changing conditions, and achieve defined business objectives

· Create intelligent agents capable of multi-step reasoning, dynamic planning, and self-

correction

· Implement autonomous systems that integrate LLMs, machine learning models, and

traditional RPA components

 

Education and Experience:

· Associates degree and 7 years of related work experience OR

· Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related work experience OR

· Master’s degree and 3 years of related work experience and

· A minimum of 3 years of UiPath development experience

Preferred Certifications

· UiPath Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD) certification

· UiPath Solution Architect certification · AI/ML certifications (Azure AI Engineer, AWS Machine Learning, Google Cloud ML) · Power Automate experience (plus)

 

Knowledge and Skill Areas:

· Advanced proficiency in UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and AI Center

· Expert-level knowledge of REFramework and custom automation frameworks

· Experience with UiPath Apps, Action Center, and Document Understanding

· Proficiency in UiPath Integration Service and API integration patterns

· Strong coding skills in VB.NET, C#, and Python

· Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecture

· Knowledge of version control systems (Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub)

· Understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns

· Ability to analyze complex business processes and identify automation opportunities for

agentic solutions

· Strong understanding of business process optimization and continuous improvement

methodologies

· Capability to design scalable, resilient, and maintainable automation architectures

· Proficiency with databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB)

· Experience integrating with enterprise systems (Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Ariba,

Microsoft 365)

· Understanding of data security, encryption, and compliance requirements

 

Preferred

· Deep understanding of agentic AI principles, autonomous decision-making systems, and

goal-oriented automation

· Experience implementing LLM-powered agents and intelligent automation workflows

· Knowledge of prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and AI

orchestration patterns

· Familiarity with semantic automation, natural language processing, and cognitive

automation frameworks

· Understanding of agent reasoning loops, planning capabilities, and self-correcting mechanisms
