RN MEDSURG/ ACUTE REHABILITATION

Join our dynamic team in the MedSurg/Acute Rehabilitation unit, where you will play a vital role in enhancing patient health and recovery. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive care by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring that each patient receives personalized and effective treatment. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care by adhering to best practice standards and state board regulations.
• Coordinate and implement patient care plans collaboratively with patients and care teams.
• Maintain the confidentiality of medical records and ensure accurate, timely documentation.
• Provide leadership and delegate responsibilities effectively within the healthcare team.
• Offer emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and their families.
• Foster a learning environment by mentoring team members and educating patients and families on health needs.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing (Illinois or Michigan preferred).
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required before employment start date.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• At least one year of experience in a rehabilitation care setting is preferred.
• Basic proficiency in Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft applications is preferred.
• Ability to produce a negative drug screen for all panels.

Work Schedule & Benefits:

• 12-hour night shifts available.
• Competitive salary range: $32.94 - $49.36 per hour.
• Sign-on bonus of $20,000 for third shift positions with a one-year work commitment.
• Shift differentials: +$4.00 for nights, +$3.25 for weekends.
