Location: This is an in-office position based in Beverly Hills, California. Our team works closely together in person, giving associates direct access to mentorship, case strategy, and hands-on litigation experience.

Note: Candidates must have an active California Bar license and a genuine interest in litigation involving insurance coverage, construction defect claims, real estate disputes, bad faith claims, and complex property-related matters.

Job Description

  • Handle substantive litigation work involving insurance coverage, construction defect, real estate, and claims recovery matters.
  • Analyze insurance policies, coverage issues, reservation of rights letters, and bad faith claim opportunities.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, demand letters, coverage opinions, claim presentations, and litigation correspondence.
  • Assist with discovery, depositions, expert coordination, mediation preparation, and trial preparation.
  • Work closely with forensic engineers, construction professionals, insurance professionals, and other industry experts.
  • Support clients on construction risk, policy issues, dispute strategy, and claim recovery.
  • Collaborate directly with senior attorneys on case strategy, client counseling, and litigation execution.
  • Take ownership of meaningful assignments early and develop practical, high-value litigation skills.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school or equivalent.
  • Active California Bar admission required.
  • 0+ years of litigation experience.
  • Experience or interest in insurance coverage, construction defect, real estate litigation, bad faith claims, or complex commercial disputes preferred.
  • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Responsible, intellectually curious, collaborative, and eager to learn.
  • Comfortable working in a growing, entrepreneurial law firm environment.
