Summary:

The Stamping Press Set-Up & Operator is primarily responsible for setting up and operating multiple stamping presses. These processes include maintaining the company’s standards of quality by monitoring the quality of the parts being produced through the use of measuring instruments such as gauges and calipers.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
 
• Set-up and operate numerous stamping machines within the department.
• Maintain an eye for quality on all parts produced on the machine.
• Reliable attendance.
• Miscellaneous other tasks are assigned.
 
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • Two years of prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Possess the ability to be trained to use blueprints.
• Must be able to follow directions and retain information.
• Hold themself accountable for a high level of performance.
• Pay close attention to detail.
• Work efficiently and demonstrate the ability to multitask.
• Communicate clearly, effectively and professionally on all levels.
 
Education:
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is preferred.
