Head of Finance
Head of Finance
Job Description
A Seat at the Table. A Real Role in Building Something.
We're a growing, multi-entity company run by an entrepreneurial owner who moves fast, thinks big, and shares success with the people who help create it. We're not looking for someone to sit in a corner and crunch numbers. We're looking for a financial leader who wants to be in the room where decisions get made — and help make better ones.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a true partner role: part CFO, part operator, part strategic advisor. You'll have the autonomy to build processes from the ground up, the access to influence where the company goes next, and the reward of knowing your work directly shapes our growth.
If you're energized by variety, thrive in a fast-moving environment, and want your fingerprints on something real — keep reading.
What You'll Own
The Full Financial Picture You'll have visibility and accountability across all of our entities. That means clean books, accurate reporting, and financial statements ownership can trust — every month, without fail.
Day-to-Day Operations From AP and AR to bank reconciliations, vendor relationships, and collections — you'll keep the financial engine running smoothly. You're not too senior for the details. You know the details are everything.
Cash, Credit & Banking You'll manage our cash flow, maintain strong banking relationships, and keep us positioned to act when opportunities arise. You understand credit lines, lending dynamics, and what it takes to protect and grow borrowing capacity.
Budgets, Forecasts & Strategy You'll build and maintain financial models across our business units, identify risks and opportunities, and bring clear insights to leadership. When we're evaluating a new investment, expansion, or pricing decision — you're the person we turn to.
Building for Scale We're growing. That means you're not just managing what exists — you're building systems, controls, and processes that can grow with us. You take pride in leaving things better than you found them.
Who You Are
You've done this before — ideally in a multi-entity, holding company, or small-to-mid-sized business environment where you wore more than one hat. You're just as comfortable putting together a cash flow forecast as you are sitting across from a banker or walking ownership through a tough financial conversation.
You're practical, resourceful, and direct. You don't need a big team around you to feel valuable — you get value from impact. You're the kind of person who spots a problem before it becomes a crisis and already has a solution in mind when you bring it up.
You're not stuffy. You don't hide behind jargon or bureaucracy. You communicate clearly, earn trust quickly, and genuinely enjoy being part of a team that's building something together.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a senior finance, Controller, or CFO-level role
- Background in multi-entity or holding company environments strongly preferred
- Solid command of bookkeeping, AP/AR, financial reporting, and cash management
- Experience managing banking relationships, credit lines, and business financing
- Strong communicator who can translate numbers into decisions
- Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable with ambiguity and energized by growth
- Someone who wants ownership, not just a job title
What You'll Get
- A genuine seat at the table — your voice matters here
- Profit sharing — when the company wins, you win
- Hybrid work model and flexible scheduling
- The opportunity to build something that lasts — and get credit for it
- A leader who invests in the people around them and isn't afraid to say it
If this sounds like the role you've been waiting for, we'd love to hear from you.
