Senior Litigation Associate, Attorney
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Litigation Associate to join our legal team, specializing in Employment and Labor Law. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned attorney to engage in complex and high-profile cases, providing both litigation and advisory services to a diverse client base. The role is based in Irvine with remote work options available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Litigation Excellence: Represent employers in single-plaintiff employment cases and intricate class/collective actions, such as wage and hour disputes and unfair employment practices.
- Strategic Advisory: Deliver expert guidance on employment matters, including discipline, discrimination, ADA/FMLA compliance, and wage and hour issues.
- Comprehensive Case Management: Oversee all stages of litigation, from depositions and discovery to motion practice and trial preparation.
- Legal Drafting Mastery: Craft sophisticated legal documents, including class/collective certification briefs, employment agreements, and employee handbooks.
Qualifications:
- At least six years of proven experience in Employment and Labor Law.
- Demonstrated expertise in both litigation and client counseling.
- Exceptional legal research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and client engagements effectively.
- Experience in defending against class actions and mass tort claims against employers.
- Federal clerkship is highly preferred.
- Experience within a Big Law firm setting is strongly preferred.
