Sr. Labor Counsel
We are seeking an experienced and driven legal professional to join our esteemed Employment and Labor practice in either San Francisco or Santa Monica. This role is a remarkable opportunity for a seasoned attorney with over six years of dedicated experience in employment law, specializing in both single-plaintiff and complex class action cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert counsel and representation in single-plaintiff employment disputes and class and collective actions, particularly in wage and hour cases and allegations of unfair practices.
- Advise employers on a spectrum of employment matters, including discipline, discrimination, harassment, restrictive covenants, and compliance with ADA/FMLA and wage laws.
- Conduct and defend depositions, manage comprehensive written discovery processes, and draft and argue motions effectively.
- Prepare intricate opposition briefs for class and collective action certifications.
- Draft and review employment-related documents such as agreements, position statements, and employee handbooks.
Qualifications:
- At least six years of substantial experience in employment law.
- Strong legal research, analytical, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with a proactive and diligent approach.

Compensation:
