We are looking for a talented Water Resources Engineer with a specialization in Hydrology and Hydraulics (H&H) to join our vibrant team. Position Overview:

  • Participate in a variety of water resources projects alongside private developers, municipalities, and transportation agencies.
  • Engage in tasks such as hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater management, drainage design, erosion and sediment control, flood studies, bridge hydraulics, and scour analysis.
  • Provide design support for projects primarily in Pennsylvania, with potential assignments in surrounding states, focusing on field data collection and site visits.
  • Create project plans, technical reports, and specifications while maintaining strong interactions with both internal teams and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support tasks related to H&H, erosion and sediment control (ES&C), drainage, and stormwater management (SWM).
  • Manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets, with opportunities to grow into task or project management roles.
  • Ensure quality and efficiency across diverse project deliverables.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) required; FE/EIT, PE preferred.
  • 5-12 years of experience in water resources engineering.
  • Proficiency in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software such as PondPack, StormCAD, HEC-RAS, HY-8, and Watershed Modeling System.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation, with 3D modeling experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with agencies such as PennDOT, PA Turnpike, DelDOT, MDSHA, VDOT, and DCDOT is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, thriving in a collaborative team environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $88k to $125k, based on qualifications.
