We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to oversee construction projects with a focus on safety, budget management, scheduling, and quality assurance. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that construction projects are completed to the highest standards and that client satisfaction is achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

Preconstruction Phase:

  • Assist in developing project schedules, phasing plans, and logistics.
  • Participate in constructability reviews when necessary.
  • Contribute to the development of bid packages and scopes of work.
  • Support the bid, award, and procurement processes for subcontractors and suppliers.

Construction Phase:

  • Lead and coordinate daily field activities, ensuring compliance with project plans.
  • Manage subcontractors effectively to control project costs.
  • Implement and monitor the project schedule for timely completion.
  • Ensure quality control measures are in place, including punch list management.
  • Resolve field issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports and gather reports from subcontractors.
  • Participate in Owner, Architect, and Contractor (OAC) meetings.
  • Conduct regular foreman meetings and document minutes accurately.
  • Ensure the correct documentation is available on-site.
  • Maintain up-to-date as-built drawings.
  • Enforce all safety policies and procedures to secure the jobsite.
  • Oversee permit and inspection processes, ensuring code compliance.
  • Train and mentor Field Engineers and Assistant Superintendents.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks continuously.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.

Business Development:

  • Participate in RFQ/RFP responses and project interviews as required.
  • Assist in identifying and developing new job opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent in multi-family housing, commercial, or K–12 construction markets.
  • 10-Hour OSHA Construction Certification.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.

Location: Ohio-based, with a preference for Columbus or Northern Ohio. Travel may be required.
