We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team in Atlanta. This full-time position is ideal for someone with a strong background in litigation support, who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The role involves significant interaction with attorneys, clients, and various legal entities, requiring exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform secretarial and clerical duties, including data entry and document management.
- Maintain and manage attorneys’ calendars, scheduling depositions, meetings, mediations, and hearings.
- Prepare and e-file legal documents in Florida’s E-Portal System and other required platforms.
- Assist attorneys in the preparation for depositions, hearings, trials, and conferences.
- Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and subpoenas.
- Manage correspondence with parties and non-parties via email, regular mail, or certified mail.
- Set up and coordinate Court Calls or Zoom sessions for hearings.
- Perform additional related duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience; trial experience is preferred.
- Prior experience with e-filing in state and federal courts is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe.
- Strong ability to handle a heavy workload efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interaction with clients and colleagues.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach.
Working Hours:
Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
