We are seeking an accomplished and detail-oriented Assistant Corporate Controller to join a dynamic team within the construction and real estate sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless financial operations of multi-entity environments, offering the right candidate an exciting opportunity to leverage their accounting expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive closing statements and manage loan closing journal entries.
- Assist in audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors for successful audits.
- Oversee job cost accounting processes for construction and real estate projects.
- Support corporate banking activities and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage cost segregation and property tax appeal processes efficiently.
- Collaborate with various departments to maintain precise financial management across multiple entities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Extensive experience in accounting for construction and real estate, particularly in managing multiple entities.
- Proficiency in JDE is mandatory, along with strong skills in MS Office and Excel, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables.
- In-depth knowledge of cost segregation and property tax appeal processes.
- Proven experience with loan and closing journal entries, as well as audit preparation.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
