Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial documentation, including general ledger entries and financial reports, to communicate financial positions.
• Month-End Close & Accounting Operations: Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP standards.
• Cash Management & Reconciliations: Conduct thorough reconciliations of cash accounts and manage banking activities.
• Process Improvement & Systems: Identify and implement process improvements, focusing on automation and efficiency.
• Compliance & Auditing: Audit financial transactions and assist in preparing tax filings and compliance documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (required)
• 4+ years of accounting and GAAP experience
• Preferred experience in month-end close processes
• Extra advantage: Construction accounting and job costing experience
• CPA designation is a plus
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with QuickBooks preferred
