Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of electrical systems for both new constructions and renovation projects.
  • Assist in project management tasks, including managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Conduct comprehensive field investigations, code reviews, and site assessments.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure a high referral rate.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 10–20 years of experience in power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit, AGI32, and SKM or Easypower.
  • Demonstrated leadership and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with fieldwork and the ability to adapt to various site conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Medium-Voltage (MV) distribution systems.
  • RCDD certification.
  • Background in federal sector projects (UFC, UFGS, FAR).
  • Established client relationships in NC/SC, Mid-Atlantic, or South-Central U.S.
  • Familiarity with higher education and NC State Construction Office systems.
  • U.S. Citizenship required for access to government projects.
