E&I Specialist
Overview:
Join a dynamic team as an E&I Specialist in Pryor, where you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our process control systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in automation and electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Navigate and maintain process control systems and associated field devices.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, Drives, and other control systems effectively.
- Serve as a technical consultant to operations and maintenance teams for issue resolution.
- Contribute to the successful installation of instrumentation and control devices in capital projects.
- Manage system changes by ensuring programs are backed up and documentation is updated.
- Support daily operations, periodic maintenance, and long-term planning for process controls.
- Participate in reliability programs including Thermography and Motor Analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial technology, or a related field, or a vocational certificate/diploma in electronic controls/instrumentation.
- 1-3+ years of experience as an electrical maintenance technician in manufacturing, preferably paper or industrial settings.
- Expertise in troubleshooting and knowledge of electrical sensors, controllers, and instrumentation.
- Proficiency in programming and modifying PLC and DCS control logic.
- Ability to collaborate with plant personnel, engineering teams, and contractors.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
