Compensation: $70,000 - $120,000 + OTE

Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Work Environment: Hybrid – 70% fieldwork, 30% office (2-3 hours in the office)

We are searching for a skilled Concrete Estimator to enhance our team. This role is pivotal in managing our sales and estimating operations within the San Francisco Bay Area. The ideal candidate will excel in creating and nurturing relationships with clientele, ensuring seamless project execution from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain robust relationships with both potential and existing clients to secure new business opportunities.
  • Evaluate prospective projects to formulate pricing strategies and devise comprehensive bid proposals.
  • Collaborate closely with accounting, production, and management teams to deliver superior quality service and products.
  • Partner with production teams to maximize profitability and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Engage with clients directly through site visits and meetings to gather essential project information.
  • Conduct thorough research to gather data on labor costs, materials, transportation, equipment, and production timelines.
  • Review and negotiate offers from subcontractors and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as subcontractors, suppliers, and engineers.
  • Participate in marketing events to network with potential vendors or clients.
  • Identify, prepare, and distribute change orders and submittals as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project management and estimating within the asphalt, concrete, paving, and seal coating sectors.
  • Strong familiarity with industry contacts, including property managers, board members, and general contractors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Earth, Bluebeam, Filemaker, and CRM tools (Salesforce, Hubspot).
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure, meeting goals and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Residency in the local area is required.
