Chief Estimator, Fuel Facilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Estimator to lead our dynamic estimating team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the construction and environmental sectors, with specialized expertise in fuel facility projects. This role demands a strategic leader who can drive the team towards delivering precise and timely estimates, ensuring the efficiency and success of our Construction and Service Business Units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the estimating team, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to project deadlines.
• Develop and mentor team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
• Prepare and oversee the preparation of construction and service estimates for projects ranging from $25,000 to $5,000,000.
• Ensure all estimates are accurate, consistent, and delivered in a timely manner.
• Utilize your expertise in the Pump and Tank Industry to enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in estimating within the construction, environmental, or related industries.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with Cost Estimating Software is a plus.
• Competence in reading and interpreting plans and project documents.

Location: Farmingdale, NY (Hybrid position with remote work options available)
