Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in analog and digital design to lead and innovate across our product lifecycle. This role demands expertise from initial requirements to final production and ongoing sustainment in demanding environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical efforts across the product lifecycle, ensuring robust designs from concept to deployment.
• Design and verify cutting-edge analog and digital hardware solutions, with a focus on applications in harsh environments.
• Draft comprehensive requirements and design documentation, and present at technical reviews.
• Strategically balance design tradeoffs involving performance, cost, schedule, and risk management.
• Provide hands-on support to manufacturing and suppliers, and troubleshoot legacy products.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to project proposals and cost estimates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• 7–10+ years of experience in analog and digital circuit design, including A/D conversion and microcontroller applications.
• Proficient in power electronics and devices such as MOSFET, IGBT, SiC, and GaN.
• Experience with DC/DC converters and compliance with standards like MIL-STD-1275/704, DO-160, and MIL-STD-461.
• Strong skills in thermal and electrical stress analyses, including worst-case, tolerance, aging, FMEA, EMI, and radiation analyses.
• Proficient in high-power PWB layout and EMI-compliant designs.
• Knowledgeable in communication protocols like CAN, RS-232/422/485, SPI, JTAG, PCI/PCIe, and Ethernet.
• Experience in motor control, control theory, and sensor interfaces.
• Proficiency with CAD and simulation tools such as LT-Spice, P-Spice, OrCAD, Allegro, and MATLAB/Simulink.
