Labor & Employment Attorney
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to join our legal team in Saint Louis, MO. This role is perfect for a mid-level associate with a strong background in employment and labor law, looking to advance their career by taking on significant responsibilities in case management and client interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defend employment cases, with a preference for experience in class and collective wage and hour actions.
- Conduct and defend depositions effectively.
- Oversee written discovery processes.
- Draft and argue motions proficiently.
- Manage overall case proceedings from initiation to resolution.
- Review and draft workplace policies, practices, and handbooks for employers with nationwide and international operations.
- Engage with clients, maintaining a high level of responsibility and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a reputable law school, with distinctions preferred.
- Active bar admission in Missouri.
- Minimum of four years of experience in employment and labor law, particularly on behalf of employers or corporations.
- Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and analyzing workplace bylaws and other governing documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superior analytical abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Capability to commute to the office regularly.
