The role of Sr. Maintenance & Reliability Manager is pivotal in steering the maintenance and reliability operations at the Pensacola site. This position is integral to both the Business and Site Leadership Teams, responsible for enhancing productivity and equipment reliability through strategic leadership and operational excellence.

Key Objectives

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive multi-year strategic plan aimed at transforming maintenance and reliability, ensuring higher productivity, reduced downtime, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead a successful reliability transformation by fostering disciplined maintenance execution and predictive maintenance strategies.
  • Build a dynamic team culture that prioritizes innovation, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Boost business profitability through optimized maintenance planning, efficient turnaround execution, and strategic reliability investments.

Primary Responsibilities

Leadership

  • Guide and nurture the site's maintenance and reliability team, ensuring effective execution and development of capabilities.
  • Collaborate with the Site Director and Leadership Team to overcome operational challenges and advance strategic initiatives.
  • Establish clear goals and expectations for direct reports, promoting a values-driven, collaborative environment.
  • Meet Annual Operating Plan (AOP) commitments and adapt plans as necessary to align with emerging site priorities.

Maintenance

  • Oversee the execution of safe, cost-effective, and compliant maintenance activities and projects.
  • Implement standardized maintenance work processes and reliability frameworks aligned with industry best practices.
  • Ensure effective use of SAP and other maintenance systems for planning and execution.
  • Supervise the development of turnaround strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Reliability

  • Create and implement reliability strategies focused on predictive and preventive maintenance for mechanical and instrumentation systems.
  • Prioritize maintenance investments and capital expenditure to enhance Operational Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Foster a data-driven reliability culture in collaboration with operations and engineering teams.
  • Align reliability objectives with process safety and work process optimization goals.

Team Structure

  • Reports to: Senior Site Director
  • Direct Reports: 3 Maintenance and Reliability Managers
  • Total Organization: Approximately 75 contractor team members
  • Collaborates closely with operations, engineering, Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH), and the central reliability team to achieve performance targets.

This position requires a visionary leader who can drive change and inspire a team towards excellence in maintenance and reliability operations.
