This is a critical role, you will direct all maintenance-related activities, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment, as well as foundry casting machinery, buildings, and grounds. You will be accountable for the safety, productivity, and quality of work performed by your team while actively participating in maintenance tasks for Fabricated Metal Products.
 
Qualifications
 
  • Supervise electricians, mechanics, and clean-up personnel to ensure safe and efficient work practices.
  • Oversee maintenance tasks alongside team members while coordinating with maintenance planners, purchasing, and vendors for equipment repairs and routine maintenance.
  • Review and maintain check sheets and preventive maintenance (PM) records, addressing action items promptly.
  • Monitor production equipment uptime and efficiency, collaborating with other supervisors to drive improvements.
  • Train and qualify employees on necessary functions, providing safety training to prevent unsafe conditions.
  • Investigate accidents and injuries, preparing detailed reports on findings.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal environmental regulations, manage waste, and perform administrative tasks such as report writing and expenditure approvals.
