Senior Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage technical aspects related to your area of expertise.
- Provide technical engineering support to project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure compliance with engineering standards and specifications.
- Analyze and resolve field or design issues efficiently.
- Offer expertise in complex engineering calculations and act as a technical specialist on diverse projects.
- Participate actively in technical societies and contribute to engineering publications.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate project phases to ensure timely completion.
- Ensure a strong client focus within project teams and processes.
- Lead the pursuit process, preparing proposals, estimating costs, and ensuring project quality and profitability.
- Provide leadership and supervision to project teams and support staff.
- Act as a mentor to junior engineers and technical staff.
- Champion safety practices and ensure specialized training in health and safety procedures for staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in project engineering.
- Experience in the inspection and design of structures such as bridges, roadways, railroads, marinas, and ports.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) and/or Structural Engineer (S.E.) license required.
- Proven expertise and competency as a major resource in your field.
