Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee tax and assurance projects to ensure timely completion, including T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T1134, T1135, Tax Reorganizations, and Tax Audits.
• Plan, supervise, and execute review and compilation engagements, ensuring adherence to professional standards and policies.
• Maintain quality control by reviewing engagement files and tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor project timelines, make necessary adjustments, and communicate with clients regarding project status.
• Contribute to staff performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
• Mentor and develop team members through supervision, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
• Manage firm resources effectively to optimize performance and outcomes.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key business decision makers to enhance service delivery.
• Promote an innovative and teamwork-oriented environment to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• CPA designation with over five years of post-certification professional accounting experience.
• At least two years of management experience within the accounting field.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient knowledge of ASPE and ITA.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Caseware, Profile, and QBO is advantageous.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of handling a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective client and team interaction.
