We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to step into the role of Senior Accounting Manager. This position offers the exciting potential to progress to a Partnership within the coming years, providing a significant opportunity for career advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee tax and assurance projects to ensure timely completion, including T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T1134, T1135, Tax Reorganizations, and Tax Audits.
- Plan, supervise, and execute review and compilation engagements, ensuring adherence to professional standards and policies.
- Maintain quality control by reviewing engagement files and tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor project timelines, make necessary adjustments, and communicate with clients regarding project status.
- Contribute to staff performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Mentor and develop team members through supervision, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
- Manage firm resources effectively to optimize performance and outcomes.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key business decision makers to enhance service delivery.
- Promote an innovative and teamwork-oriented environment to achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- CPA designation with over five years of post-certification professional accounting experience.
- At least two years of management experience within the accounting field.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient knowledge of ASPE and ITA.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Caseware, Profile, and QBO is advantageous.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of handling a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective client and team interaction.
