We are seeking a dedicated and skilled E&I Specialist to join our team in Pryor, Oklahoma. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing paper packaging manufacturer. The E&I Specialist will provide crucial technical support for instrumentation and electrical control applications across various operations, including paper machines, secondary fiber, automated warehouses, effluent treatment, and boiler rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertly navigate and manage process control systems and field devices.
  • Evaluate, program, and repair PLCs, HMIs, Drives, and other control systems.
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
  • Contribute to capital projects by installing and supporting instrumentation and control devices.
  • Maintain system integrity through regular updates and backups of programs, documentation, schematics, and drawings.
  • Support daily operations, maintenance shutdowns, long-term planning, and capital projects for the process controls and E&I department.
  • Enhance reliability programs, including Thermography, Ultrasound, Motor, and Power Analysis.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial technology, or a related field, or a vocational certificate/diploma in electronic controls/instrumentation/technician.
  • Consideration given to a combination of education and relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience as an electrical maintenance technician in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a preference for experience in the paper mill or converting industry.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and knowledgeable about electrical sensors, switches, controllers, instrumentation, transmitters, automated valves, calibrations, industrial communications, robotics, motion control, and AC/DC control power.
  • Skilled in creating, monitoring, and modifying PLC and DCS control logic.
  • Able to collaborate with plant personnel, engineering teams, and external contractors to ensure effective work execution.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently, with a strong ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently under deadlines.

This position does not offer remote work options and requires on-site presence to effectively fulfill the responsibilities.
