Our client, a prominent player in the production of pumps, valves, and related services, is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Millwright to focus on rotating equipment. Key Responsibilities:
• Work under the guidance of the Service Manager to perform tasks such as the disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and
overhaul of rotating equipment, particularly centrifugal pumps.
• Complete meticulous inspection reports and formulate repair recommendations based on findings.
• Handle both workshop and field service tasks, including on-site repairs, installation inspections, equipment start-ups, and
commissioning.
• Execute precision measurements and electrical testing on components to ensure integrity and performance.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Develop and sustain outstanding communication with clients and team members to ensure service excellence.
• Support accurate service quotations and define repair scope in collaboration with the Service Manager.
• Commit to continuous technical learning and participate in relevant workshops and training sessions.
• Provide exceptional customer service by swiftly addressing and resolving service requests.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Millwright, with 3 – 5 years focused on rotating equipment, especially centrifugal pumps.
• Millwright Certification (433A) or equivalent Technical Trades Diploma is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in mechanical systems, machining operations, and a foundational understanding of electrical principles.
• Computer literate, especially with Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong communication abilities and efficient time management. Proficiency in English (required).
• Willing to travel and work weekends when necessary.
