We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Master Planner to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role is responsible for developing and implementing master planning and scheduling processes that enhance lean operations, optimize inventory control, and elevate customer service to best-in-class standards. You will be instrumental in converting demand forecasts into actionable, balanced production plans while adhering to value-stream capacity constraints. As a key participant in the global Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process, you will collaborate across various functions to enhance planning accuracy, streamline operational flow, and ensure timely delivery across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and direct master schedules and production plans supporting $70M in sales while achieving inventory targets.
  • Oversee the execution of the Production Control Schedule in SAP, meeting customer service, on-time delivery, inventory, and strategic objectives.
  • Lead master scheduling for assigned value streams; analyze KPIs and initiate corrective actions to meet demand forecasts.
  • Act as a core contributor to the global SIOP process, working with demand planning to translate forecasts into production plans.
  • Collaborate with customers, account representatives, and various departments to stabilize demand and align supply.
  • Manage supply chain performance and supplier relationships for assigned value streams.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material flow, reduce lead times, and improve planning accuracy.
  • Analyze manufacturing capacity and recommend crewing and long-term capacity plans.
  • Support new product introductions and ensure data integrity for reliable MRP results.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 4+ years of master planning or production planning experience in high-mix, low-volume or engineered-to-order environments; experience with $50M+ value streams preferred.
  • Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems; SAP experience strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of MRP logic, BOMs, routings, lead-time management, and capacity planning.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in advanced Excel and planning tools.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills, capable of prioritizing and executing tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Preferred:

  • Experience with lean manufacturing tools, production scheduling software, and APS systems.
  • APICS/CPIM or similar supply-chain certification.
  • Familiarity with change management, MOC, and product lifecycle management processes.
