Controls Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for enhancing the efficiency and reliability of our electrical control systems across various global manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills in PLC/HMI programming, troubleshooting, and providing support for OEM equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the installation and commissioning of OEM equipment at international manufacturing sites, both remotely and onsite.
• Provide expert technical service and support for sophisticated electrical control systems.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve control-related issues in OEM equipment.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance with customer controls policies and standards.
• Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in controls engineering or IT systems.
• Experience with international teams is advantageous.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong understanding of control system design and implementation for global manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and electronic control systems.
• Experience programming Rockwell Automation Logix PLCs.
• Proficiency with Rockwell HMI platforms including PanelView Plus, PanelView Plus CE, and FactoryTalk View ME/SE.
• Experience programming Siemens S7 / TIA Portal PLCs.
• Basic understanding of Ethernet-based industrial networks and architectures.
