Professional Engineer, Project Manager
Location: Mission Viejo, CA
Salary: $80,000 – $120,000 per year (based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager with a Professional Engineer license to lead and execute structural engineering projects. This role demands a strategic thinker capable of managing projects from inception to completion across various sectors including residential, commercial, educational, and renewable energy. You will guide a team of engineers and drafters, ensuring that all projects meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage project teams, including engineers and drafters.
- Perform structural analysis, design, calculations, and detailing.
- Review and interpret contracts, scopes of work, and change orders.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain strong communication with clients and internal teams.
- Drive project success through team motivation and technical oversight.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering with a Structural or Civil emphasis.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in California – Civil or Structural.
- 5+ years of experience in structural engineering design.
- Proven project management or team leadership experience.
- Experience with structural calculations in various sectors including residential, commercial, education, and solar.
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2015 or newer (2D), Enercalc, and RISA.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Adobe.
