Are you a dedicated professional with a passion for civil engineering and transportation projects? We are seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager to join a dynamic team in our Chicago office. This role offers the opportunity to lead and expand a significant transportation portfolio, working on diverse and impactful projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and manage stormwater management and detention systems.
- Conduct hydraulics and hydrology modeling.
- Develop storm sewer designs and oversee grading and earthwork.
- Plan underground utilities and perform quantity takeoffs.
- Create construction specifications and details.
- Design roadways, intersections, and sidewalks.
- Engage in corridor development and concept planning.
- Support project management tasks, including budget and schedule oversight.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and plans with minimal supervision.
- Lead client meetings and facilitate internal coordination sessions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 4–8 years of civil engineering experience.
- P.E. license preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience with federally funded projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent project and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
- Strong communication skills with experience leading meetings.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
