We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team on the picturesque Sunshine Coast. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to provide impactful mental health services and make a significant difference in the lives of clients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive psychological services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for clients with diverse mental health issues.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement effective harm minimization strategies, particularly for cases involving suicide and violence risks.
  • Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring adherence to best practices in psychological treatment.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Maintain high standards of documentation, reporting, and compliance with relevant professional guidelines.
  • Engage in case management, crisis response, and ongoing safety monitoring.
  • Mentor and supervise students and less experienced staff members, contributing to their professional growth.
  • Participate in community engagement and advocacy initiatives, promoting mental health awareness.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology with full registration under APS and AHPRA.
  • Proven experience in conducting psychological assessments, psychometric testing, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with proficiency in computer applications.
  • Deep understanding of evidence-based psychological treatment approaches.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with systems such as CRM and SharePoint.
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid Queensland Driver’s License.
