Account Executive, B2B software
We are seeking a driven Account Executive in a dynamic SaaS environment to spearhead new business growth within a specified territory. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to enhance sales processes, generate demand, and close lucrative business opportunities.
Location: Downtown Toronto
Work Environment: Hybrid schedule with four days in the office and a remote half-day on Fridays.
Compensation: Base Salary of $80K-$85K plus uncapped commissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a territory-specific sales strategy, focusing on targeted prospecting and regional planning.
- Identify and address customer challenges across technical and business domains, proposing tailored solutions.
- Deliver compelling presentations that demonstrate how our platform resolves customer pain points.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support seamless deal progression from initial contact to closure.
- Remain informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to finalizing contracts.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience as a quota-carrying Account Executive in SaaS or B2B software.
- At least 2 years of experience in B2B sales or business development.
- Proven track record of closing deals within fast-paced cycles (typically 60–120 days).
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills across phone, virtual meetings, and technical demos.
- Proficiency with sales tools such as Salesforce, Salesloft, Gong, and ZoomInfo.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience engaging IT decision-makers, procurement teams, and senior stakeholders.
- Experience with or selling into IT environments is highly advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
