Join a dynamic team as a Traffic Project Manager where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping transportation projects across state and local agencies. Your expertise in traffic engineering will drive the development and execution of impactful projects, with a focus on traffic safety and operations. This position involves coordinating project deliverables, ensuring compliance with local standards, and collaborating with various stakeholders, including the Department of Transportation (DOT).

Your Impact:

  • Design and implement project work plans efficiently.
  • Oversee project analysis and the creation of deliverables.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, senior staff, and external clients.
  • Engage with clients, agencies, and other stakeholders, ensuring smooth project delivery.
  • Represent the firm at industry events to enhance professional connections.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years in civil transportation and traffic engineering, demonstrating a progressive career path.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Massachusetts, or intention to obtain licensure within one year.
  • Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) license preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Experience collaborating with public agencies and municipalities, with a preference for MassDOT experience.
  • Proficiency in developing plans and reports per DOT standards.
  • Outstanding communication and client relationship skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a history of adhering to project budgets and schedules.
  • Advanced proficiency in project-specific software such as CADD, Synchro, GIS, etc.
  • Capacity to work independently and produce comprehensive task deliverables.
  • Willing to work onsite with clients as needed.
