They offer a modern, API-driven platform that helps merchants reduce transaction costs while delivering a better payment experience for consumers. Backed by strong investment and a rapidly growing user base, they are expanding their product team to support continued innovation and scale.
 
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the evolution of their core payment products, someone with deep payments knowledge, a product mindset, and a drive to build impactful solutions.
 
 
What You Will Do:
 
  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for payment products 
  • Conduct market and competitive research to identify new opportunities in payment processing, digital wallets, merchant acquiring, and card networks.
  • Define clear product requirements including user stories and acceptance criteria that guide engineering, design, and operations teams.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback and business impact.
  • Drive seamless product development from concept through launch, ensuring integration with internal systems and third-party platforms.
  • Collaborate across departments—sales, marketing, customer support, compliance—to maximize adoption and maintain regulatory compliance (PCI DSS, PSD2, AML, etc.).
  • Monitor key performance metrics like transaction success rates, processing speeds, and fraud indicators.
  • Use data to optimize payment flows, user experience, and overall product performance.
  • Identify and address issues related to chargebacks, fraud, and transaction failures.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in blockchain, real-time payments, Open Banking, and fintech innovation.
  • Communicate product vision, updates, and key metrics to stakeholders and leadership
  • Evaluate new technologies and partnerships to expand and improve the payments offering.
 
What You Bring:
 
  • 5–7 years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in payments or fintech,  
  • Deep knowledge of payment processing, card networks (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX), ACH, RTP, and digital wallets.
  • Hands-on experience working with APIs, payment gateways, and fraud prevention tools.
  • A proven track record of bringing payment products to market and driving adoption.
  • Familiarity with agile development, including tools like Jira, Confluence, or Asana.
  • Strong skills in data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Excellent communicator with experience aligning cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, PSD2, NACHA).
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies in payments like blockchain, BNPL, or Open Banking.
